2. Once on that page, Instagram wants to know why do you want to delete this profile and you have to provide one of the reasons below : (e.g. concerned about my data; trouble getting started, created a second account, etc. )
3. You have to re-enter your password to make sure that this user is the one that wants to do this change!
4. Finally, you have to click “permanently delete my account” 

Please think twice before permanently deleting your account! This will allow you to disable your account for a period of time, and you can come back to it whenever you want.
