Enquiry form

When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number (if you give one), the service you're asking about, and your message. This is sent as an email to our inbox (info@atechnology.net) so we can reply. We don't store enquiry-form submissions in a database — the record that exists is the email itself.

Booking a call

Booking a call collects your name, email and any notes you add. This creates an event in our Google Calendar, with you added as an attendee, so Google Calendar processes your name and email as part of that. We also get a notification email. We don't keep a separate copy of booking details outside the calendar event and that email.

Site analytics

We run our own first-party analytics — there's no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other third-party ad tracking on this site, and we don't use cookies for this. When you visit a page, we record: the page you viewed, your IP address, an approximate location derived from that IP (city/country level, not precise), your device type and screen width, and where you came from (e.g. search, social, direct). This is stored on our own server and used only to understand traffic to the site — it's not shared, sold, or used for advertising.

To work out the approximate location from an IP address, we send that IP address to a third-party lookup service (ip-api.com). That's the only third party involved in analytics.

Hosting and email

This site is hosted with Hostinger, who also handle outgoing email (SMTP) for the contact form and booking notifications. Booking calls use the Google Calendar API to create and manage events.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
  • We don't require marketing consent to answer an enquiry.
  • We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop processing it. Email info@atechnology.net and we'll sort it out directly — there's no automated process to opt out of, since there's no marketing list to begin with.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, email info@atechnology.net and we'll explain in plain terms.
